Coffee Roaster Meet Up

A unique opportunity for coffee roasters to meet up, learn and taste together.

Life as a coffee roaster is often solitary - it's rare to socialise with other roasters, let alone to have an opportunity to learn from them or to share your knowledge and experience. We've been inspired by the Roaster Camps in Estonia (2016) and Poland (2017) to bring a taste of this experience to the U.K.

The conversation started at the end of 2017, after Roland Glew (a Roaster at Hasbean, Stafford) got back from the Roaster Camp near Poznan full of the excitement of 4 days spent with some of the most amazing coffee professionals. Whilst chatting about the experience with Nathan Retzer (Owner of Quarter Horse Coffee, Birmingham), who hadn't been able to make the Poland trip, they decided to run an afternoon here at Quarter Horse to give UK Roasters a chance to sample some of what Roaster Camp is like, complete with cuppings, professional talks, and discussions.

We'll be updating this page as we go along and as we confirm our speakers, but please take your opportunity and book your tickets now.
